[ She comes into the room freely, pulling up a chair to sit across form her on the bed. ] I realize that this may have put you in a body that's about seven years older than your own. Can you tell me any differences you've noticed while in this body? [ Welcome to being a teenager. ]

[ 9+7 = 16! Mokou always seemed older than that... She frowns a moment in thought. Not sure what she means by differences. Beyond the obvious being an adult so taller and... boobs. ] ... Smells funny.

That... can be due to a number of things. Up until recently she used to be a chronic smoker. She claims to bath regularly, but I still cant be sure about that. Another factor is that, in short, as the body grows through adolescence and further it releases more odors-- pheromones and other things.

[ Ib stares at the doctor. She's using quite a few words that are a bit above her level. But she understands the smoking and maybe not bathing. She nods like she understands - growing up means smells. ]

Which brings me to another point. Have you been... feeling anything strange lately? Such as pain here. [ She points to her own lower stomach. Because if this 9 year old girl is having cramps because being in a 16 year old's body-- ]

[ Hands on stomach, Ib tries to think of what she could mean by feeling strange. This isn't the first time someone as said something like that to her but they never explain what they mean by "feeling strange" Just that she should tell them. ] .... I'm not hungry. [ That's kind of strange. ]

No, that's not what I meant. [ A pause. ] For some it might be a dull, throbbing pain that may produce a feeling of being bloated. Others might night find anything painful at all. [ Hopefully Ib won't ask why, so-- ] Just... If you do start to feel anything painful along your lower stomach or you experience bleeding you can call me and we'll talk then.

[ Pain and blood, smelling funny. There's a lot she doesn't understand and she's not sure she wants to ask. Here she thought all she had to worry about was fire and taking care of Mokou's hair. She just stares. ] ... Okay.
